Years
Dr. Free will see your baby for well-baby
visits at regular intervals for the first 2 years of
life. Her focus is nutrition, feeding, developmental
milestones, immunizations, parenting, and safety. Dr.
Free is available for sick visits and any concerns you
may have for your child - from colds and colic, to ear
infection and feeding problems.
Childhood Years
Dr. Free sees toddlers and children
for routine physicals every year. The focus for the
preschool child is development, speach, behavior, parenting
and safety. As your child reaches school age, the focus
expands to include school and learning, as well as friends
and outside activites. Dr. Free is available for sick
visits, assistance with school and behavior problems,
as well as care for children with chronic illnesses.
Adolescent Years
Adolescence is an exciting time
of transitions from childhood to young adulthood. Routine
physicals are scheduled annually. Dr. Free establishes
an individual relationship with the adolescent patient.
Issues important during adolescence include peer relatioships,
safety, school problems, and awareness of substance
abuse and health education.

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends
this schedule for routine well-care visits:
- before new
baby is dismissed from the hospital, or at 48
to 72 hours of age
- 2 to 4 weeks
- 2 months

- 24 months
- 3 years
- 4 years
- 5 years
- 6 years
- 8 years
- 10 years
- annually,
between ages of 11 and 21
